I am just so stinkin excited! I have to share our latest find. Awhile back I took a chance and ordered a digital microscope off of a Facebook ad from China. I used it this week for the first time and we are LOVING it. We did need to get a usb adapter for my phone (which you may not need depending on your power port) via amazon and download the OTG viewer app but after that quick set up we just plugged it in and were in business!
The kids keep bringing me things to scope out and noticing a lot more bugs and plants in the process. Then asking more, and in turn, better questions. The last few outings have just been alive with excitement. Here are some photos of what we found and what they looked like between 40 and 1000x magnification.
I couldn’t track down who I originally bought the microscope from but was happy to see that they have the same Digital Microscope on Amazon now.
I’ll add some journal entries when we finally stay in long enough to get them done! (These photos come from two hikes today and one yesterday and we still have other subjects to get to lol)
