Learn the geologic history of the earth with these geologic timeline cards!

Each card has a picture that represents a major event or life form that lived during that time frame, a brief description, and when the timeframe started. At the bottom of the cards, it highlights whether the timeframe was an Eon, Era, Period, or Epoch. All Eons and Eras are represented along with many of the periods, and one epoch. Giving a good overview of the history of the earth and helping the kids understand important events in Earth's evolutionary history.

The cards can be used as flashcards to memorize key timeframes in earth's history, to lay them out in order as shown above, or with a to-scale timeline to give kids a visual idea of how long it took for each of these events to take place.

The time frames covered are:

- All Eons (Hadean, Archaean, Proterozoic, and Phanerozoic)

- All Eras (Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic)

- 9 Key Periods (Cambrian, Devonian, and Permian for the Paleozoic Era. All three Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods for the Mesozoic era. All three Paleogene, Neogene, and Quaternary periods for the Cenozoic era.)

- One Epoch (Holocene, the one we currently live in)
