Discover the wonder of our beautiful world in this year-long science & geography curriculum for early elementary. Hands-on lessons, vivid demonstrations, and songs for memorization bring learning to life as children discover their place in space, forces that shape the earth, and the abundant life on our planet. Topics covered include Our place in space, weather, erosion, volcanism, plate tectonics, land and water forms, classification of living things, what living things need to survive, parts of a biome, and the 12 major biomes of the earth. This course lays a foundation in ecology, earth science, biology, and geography that you can build on through continent study or classical science courses.

2. A digital version of the combined teacher's guide& student book, landform cards, and biome cards (emailed to you when the physical product ships within two weeks)

7. A physical weather journal

It is everything you need to have a full year of science for any grade 1-3 and fulfills at least 15 NGSS standards for grades 1-4.

The curriculum has everything you need to complete the lessons built into it and cut out. However, if you choose to splurge on some of the beautiful wood products or canvas “Our World” mat in my shop instructions for their use are included as well so you can get the most from your manipulatives. The optional materials tied into this curriculum are: "Our World" Mat, a Physical Copy of the Landform & Biome Cards, Cloud Viewer, Weather Journal, Tree of Life, Wood Sorting Set, and Plant & Animal Cards.

Notice: There are two required texts for this curriculum that you can buy separately or rent from your local library they are "Tree of Life: The Incredible Biodiversity of Life on Earth" by Rochelle Strauss and "Clouds" by Anne Rockwell. There are other books recommended to enhance your study as well but they are just suggestions and not needed to complete the lessons.
