The Tree of Life!

These Montessori-inspired manipulatives help students walk through the kingdoms of classification. Each branch represents a kingdom of living things and each leaf represents a phylum or main category of living things within that kingdom. There is one main tree that is 10" tall and has 24 leaves. Including a leaf for humans which are technically mammals but children ALWAYS want to know where were we fit in the picture so I included it as a discussion piece. This set pairs beautifully with the book "Tree of life; The incredible biodiversity of life on earth" by Rochelle Strauss.

This product is used in the Landforms and Biomes Curriculum but is not required for it.
